A large trillion African Amethyst mounted in a beautiful and unique pendant design. If you're a die hard Amethyst lover, this is going to be a hardpiece to resist, with its rich royal tones, African Amethysts are truly intoxicating! For such a unique stone in its stunning trillion cut, we had to design an equally unique mount. Worn here on a 24" snake chain, it would look just as lovely on a variety of styles and lengths. Amethyst-Protect-Calm-Comfort

Amethyst has a rich history, filled with folklore and intrigue. Favoured by monarchs and the clergy due to the belief of its anti-intoxication properties, it has been used as amulets for soldiers, carved into wine goblets for Kings and set into the episcopal rings of Bishops and Popes. Its regal colour is caused by minute traces of iron in pure, natural Quartz.
